The Award Ceremony of Certificates and Badges for No. 43 Officers, No. 59 Airmen and No. 34 Navy Personnel Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Basic Courses was held today (30 December 2022) at the Parade ground SLAF Station Palavi. The Command Development Project Officer, Air Commodore RP Kodippily graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.

The parade was comprised of five SLAF Officers, one Navy Officer, thirty Airmen and four Sailors. During the ceremony, 40 trainees received their certificates and badges upon successful completion of Explosive Ordnance Disposal Basic Training conducted by Explosive Ordnance Disposal Training School.

Flying Officer DGP Maduranga adjudged as the Best All-round Explosive Ordnance Disposal Officer among all Officers and Leading Aircraftman Rathnamal SHGME secured as the Best All-round Airman among all Airmen.
