National Taekwondo Championship - 2022 was held at the Indoor Gymnasium in Ministry of Sports from 28 to 30 December 2022. SLAF Men’s and Women’s players performed exceptionally challenging at the Championship.

Out of the 16 events held at the Championship, the SLAF Men's and Women's Taekwondo Teams won seven Gold, one Silver and eight Bronze medals. The Director General of the Ministry of Spots, Mr. Kamal Edirisuriya graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
