Under the direction of Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Sudarshana Pathirana, and the Chairperson of the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit, Mrs. Charmini Pathirana, a special donation programme was held today (11 January 2023) to distribute gift packs to the school children of SLAF personnel who made the supreme sacrifices for the nation. The symbolic donation of gift packs was carried out at the Seva Vanitha Unit, Air Force Headquarters and the event was graced by the Chairperson of the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit.

The other Gift Packs were duly handed over to the representatives of the respective Seva Vanitha Units of the SLAF Bases and Stations to distribute to the rest of Air Warriors who reside within their close proximity. The aim of this programme is to showcase the bond that we are bound to share with the families of the service personnel who were killed in action and who bestowed their supreme sacrifice in the name of our motherland.
