The SLAF Women’s Team secured the Championship at the Defence Services Games’ Archery Championship 22/23. The tournament was held at the Sri Lanka Army General Service Corps Rugby Ground in Panagoda on 17 and 18 January 2023. During the tournament, the SLAF Women’s Team defeated both the Army and Navy teams, showing the highest degree of team spirit and talents.

Corporal Mallika YM and Leading Aircraftwoman Chathurika MADD secured individual titles in the single events.

The Commandant of Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Forces, Major General WASS Wanasinghe graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The event was attended by members of the sports councils in Tri-Forces and other ranks for the awards ceremony.
