The Defence Services Games Squash Championship was concluded yesterday (17 February 2023) at SLAF Squash Complex, Ratmalana. The final session and awards ceremony were also held at the same venue.

Sri Lanka Air Force Men’s Team secured the Overall Championship by defeating Sri Lanka Navy 5-0 and Sri Lanka Army 4-1. During the presentation of special awards, Group Captain DL Hewawitharana claimed the Championship in the over-45 age category.

Director General Aeronautical Engineering of SLAF, Air Vice Marshal Ranjith Senananayake graced the Awards Ceremony as the chief guest. The event was attended by Chairman SLAF Squash, Group Captain Poojana Gunathileka, Senior Tri-Forces officers, Members of the Defence Service Sports Board and other invitees.
