Indian Air Chief visits CDS

Chief of Indian Air Force, Air Chief Marshal Pradeep Vasant Naik visited the Chief of Defense Staff and Commander of the Air Force, Air Chief Marshal Roshan Goonetileke this morning (17th January, 2011) at the SLAF Headquarters in Colombo.
 
Indian Air Chief’s visit comes as part of his first official visit to Sri Lanka.

The Indian Air Chief was welcomed at the headquarter premises with a guard of honor this morning after which he met with the SLAF Commander. An exchange of mementos took place to signify the visit.
 
Director Air Operations AVM Kolitha Gunatilaka next conducted a presentation depicting the functions the role and task of the SLAF.


Sri Lanka Air Force stands as the sole gallant aerial force in the nation, skillfully projecting airpower over its airspace and supporting the operations of surface entities.
