The Change of Command at the SLAF Station Sigiriya was conducted today (09 March 2023). The traditional Handing Over/ Taking Over Parade took place at the Station Headquarters where the outgoing  Commanding Officer Group Captain ADR Lianarachchige RWP, MSc (Def &Str at Stu), psc handed over command to Group Captain HMC Herath RSP.

The new Commanding Officer, Group Captain HMC Herath RSP previously held the appointment of Commanding Officer of the Ground Training Wing at SLAF Academy China Bay before being appointed as the Commanding Officer of SLAF Station Sigiriya.
