SLAF Station Batticaloa celebrated its 40th anniversary yesterday (27 March 2023). A series of Community Service Projects were conducted under the guidance of the Commanding Officer, Group Captain WMDGCPK Warnasooriya, in line with the anniversary celebration. A ‘Shramadhana Campaign’ was conducted at ‘Jayanthipura Temple in Batticaloa on 24 March 2023 and a ‘Bodhi Pooja Pinkama’ at the Station temple premises on 26 March 2023.  

The anniversary day celebration culminated with a tombola night at the Station premises in the presence of the commanding officer as the chief guest. Further, all officers, other ranks, and civil staff participated in the events.
