This year’s Defence Services Golf Tournament was hosted by the Sri Lanka Navy and was concluded during the evening. The Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Sudarshana Pathirana graced the tournament as the Chief Guest.

The tournament, played under ‘Handicap rules’ started off in the morning with the participation from the SL Army, Navy and Air Force. Leading Aircraftman Wijenayake GWAJ won the Defence Services Open Golf event securing the highest marks in the Gents category. The SLAF was able to secure both Men’s and Women’s Defence Services Golf Team Championships.
