All-island Hand Ball Tournament as SLAF Celebrates 60

The trendsetter in sports, Sri Lanka Air Force gears up to host the it's first ever all-island hand ball tournament on 24th and 25th
February, 2011 as part of its extensive 60th anniversary celebrations.
It will be an event of excitement and team spirit as the matches will be worked off both day and night at the Rifle Green grounds.
The tournament will see the participation of teams from Army, Navy, Air Force and the Western Province who currently play handball on competitive level. SLAF is extending an invitation to aspiring handball teams from all corners of the island to be a part of this pioneering sporting experience.
Winners will be awarded trophies medals and certificates of commendation at the tournament which will be held as part of the Sri Lanka Air Force 60th anniversary celebrations which will be commemorated on 2 March, 2011.
Officials of Sri Lanka Air Force Handball hope to make the tournament an annual feature in the country’s sporting arena in the future.
