The No.05 Air Defence Radar Squadron at SLAF Station Palavi celebrated its 16th Anniversary yesterday (24 May 2023). The celebration commenced with the customary working parade, which was reviewed by the Commanding Officer, Wing Commander Upul Dharmapala.

Parallel to the anniversary celebration, a Shramadana campaign at the Children’s Home in Puttalam district was conducted on 23 May 2023. The anniversary celebrations concluded with a friendly cricket tournament with the participation of all service personnel and civil staff at the station sports ground.
