SLAF STATION BANDARANAIKE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT MAKES A REMARKABLE DONATION DRIVE

The Seva Vanitha Unit of SLAF Station Bandaranaike International Airport successfully carried out a commendable project on 26th May 2023, wherein much-needed medicines valued at Rs. 0.55 million were donated to Apeksha Hospital, Maharagama. This significant contribution was made possible through the combined efforts and generosity of all officers and other ranks stationed at SLAF Station BIA.
The formal handover of the medicines took place in the presence of the Commanding Officer, Air Commodore SC Wijayanayake, who amiably presented the donation to the Director of Apeksha Hospital Maharagama, Dr. Aruna Jayasekara.
The event was attended by the President of the Seva Vanitha Unit at SLAF Station Bandaranaike International Airport, Group Captain Priyadarshini Wijayanayake and a cross-section of officers and other ranks in the station.
