The Change of Command at Aeronautical Engineering Support Wing, SLAF Base Ratmalana, was held yesterday (15 June 2023) and the traditional handing over/taking over parade took place at the Base Parade Square. The Acting Commanding Officer, Group Captain DGTS Edirisinghe usp,Msc (Def & Strat stu, psc handed over the command to Group Captain BKDM Sumanasekara usp, AMITD (SL), psc.
             

The new Commanding Officer Group Captain BKDM Sumanasekara held the appointment of Staff Officer Technical at the Directorate of Air Operations, before being appointed as the commanding officer at the Aeronautical Engineering Support Wing.
