
NEWLY CONSTRUCTED LECTURE HALL AT SLAF STATION SIGIRIYA DECLARED OPEN ON VIRTUAL PLATFORM

The newly constructed "Lecture Hall" at the
Hospitality Management School, SLAF Station Sigiriya, was declared open
by the Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Sudarshana Pathirana, on a
virtual platform today (19 June 2023). The lecture hall comprises smart
and advanced technical equipment with air-conditioned facilities, which
will be immensely beneficial for the trainees of the Hotel Management
School in SLAF Station Sigiriya.
The construction of the lecture hall was undertaken by the Civil Engineering Staff at SLAF Station Sigiriya and was completed within four months. The Commanding Officer of SLAF Station Sigiriya, Group Captain Chaminda Herath, the Chief Instructor of the Hospitality Management School, Wing Commander Sararth Amarakoon, all officers and staff of SLAF Station Sigiriya and a cross-section of airmen attended the opening ceremony.
The new "Lecture Hall" at SLAF Station Sigiriya, within the Hospitality Management School, will be a great asset and inspiration for the instructors and trainees to enhance their professional knowledge in a smart and comfortable teaching and learning environment. It will help them surpass the intentions of excelling in hospitality management as service personnel in the Sri Lanka Air Force.
