The SLAF Men’s Hockey Team emerged victorious with the triumph over the SL Army Men’s Hockey Team and the SLAF Women's Hockey Team emerged as runners-up during the finals in the 12th Defence Services Hockey Championship - 2023 yesterday (23 June 2023) at SLAF Trade Training School Ekala.

The grand finale and the awards ceremony were held with the graceful presence of the Director General Health Services, Air Vice Marshal (Dr.) Lalith Jayaweera, as the Chief Guest.

The Chairman of the SLAF Hockey and organizing committee, Air Vice Marshal Bandu Edirisinghe, Chairmen of the SL Army and SL Navy Hockey Teams, Members of the Defence Services Sports Board and other invitees participated to witness the finals.
