CHANGE OF COMMAND AT HOSPITAL SLAF BASE KATUNAYAKE

The Change of Command at Hospital SLAF Base Katunayake was held on 05 July 2023. The Handing Over/Taking Over parade was conducted at the Hospital premises, where the outgoing Commanding Officer, Air Commodore NDB Abeysekera USP MBBS (SL) DFM MCGP handed over the Command to Wing Commander RSS Jayathilake MBBS (SL).
Air Commodore NDB Abeysekera, who has held the appointment of Commanding Officer since 14 August 2015 will assume the new responsibility at Air Force Headquarters as the Director Medical Services.
