The Change of Command of No. 3 Leisure & Recreation Wing, SLAF Base Katunayake was held yesterday (12 July 2023). The traditional handing over/ taking over parade was conducted at the Banquet Hall premises where the outgoing Commanding Officer, Group Captain RSANE Rajapakshe USP, MLRHRM, BSc (Mgt), Pg Dip (Def Mgt), MIM (SL), AMITD(SL), psc handed over the command to Wing Commander  KMGHKH Dias MSc (Def & Strat Stu), Pg Dip (Def Mgt), psc.

The outgoing Commanding Officer, Group Captain RSANE Rajapakshe, will be proceeding to Air Force Headquarters to take over the duties as Staff Officer Personal II at the Directorate of Administrations.

The new Commanding Officer, Wing Commander KMGHKH Dias previously held the appointment as Officer Commanding Personnel Service at the SLAF Academy China Bay before being appointed as the Commanding Officer of No. 3 Leisure & Recreation Wing at SLAF Base Katunayake.
