The SLAF Men’s Carrom team clinched the Men’s Carrom Championship at the 12th Defence Services Games held on 29 and 30 August 2023, at SLNS Gemunu Welisara. The tournament took place in both men’s and women’s categories. The Men’s team emerged as the Men’s Champions, while the Women’s team became the Runner-Up in the Women’s category.
 
Rear Admiral HS Balasooriya graced the occasion as the chief guest, and senior officers representing the tri-services attended the award ceremony along with several national-level carrom players.
