The Change of Command of SLAF Station Koggala was conducted yesterday (08 September 2023). The traditional Handing over / Taking over parade took place at the station parade ground where the outgoing Commanding Officer, Group Captain RMT Rajapaksha USP, MSc (Def & Strat Stu), MBA (Log Mgt), Pg Dip (Def Mgt) psc handed over the Command to Group Captain CJ Godakanda USP, BA (Def Stu), psc.

The new Commanding Officer, Group Captain CJ Godakanda previously held the appointment as the Commanding Officer No.2 Leisure and Recreation Wing at SLAF Base Ratmalana before being appointed as the Commanding Officer of SLAF Station Koggala.
