The SLAF Men’s Hockey team emerged victorious with the triumph over the SL Army Men’s Hockey team and the SLAF Women's “A” Hockey team emerged as runners-up during the finals of the all-island interclub 7-a-side hockey tournament, which was organized by Hulangamuwa Sports Club-Matale yesterday (24 September 2023) at Edward Park Matale.In the finals, the SLAF Men’s team won the title with 03-01 goals by defeating the SL Army.

Moreover, Sergeant Rathnasiri CMTD was awarded as the ‘Best Goalkeeper’ and Leading Aircraftman Fernando WWAPU was titled as the ‘Most Outstanding Player’ at the tournament in the men's category.
