A ‘Guwan Mithudam’ Project was successfully concluded yesterday (01 October 2023) at Nawajothi Vidyalaya Madukkulama by SLAF Regiment Training School Vanni, under the guidance of the Chairperson of the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit, Mrs. Enoka Rajapaksa.

The project included the renovation of the School’s main building, children’s park, lavatory complex and installation of a water system for drinking purposes. This project was initiated on September 2023 and handed over to students by the Commanding Officer of SLAF Regiment Training School Vanni, Group Captain Buddhika Piyasiri.

This project was jointly funded by the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit and SLAF Regiment Training School Vanni. The Ceremony was attended by a cross-section of officers, other ranks and representatives from the school including the principal, teachers, students and parents of the children.
