DIALOGUE WITH THE CENTRAL FLYING SCHOOL DELEGATION, ROYAL AIR FORCE, UK

A delegation led by Group Captain Mike Jordan, Commandant of the Central Flying School Royal Air Force - UK and Commanding Officer of the Multi-Engine Examiner Squadron, Squadron Leader Simon Dacher, engaged in a comprehensive discussion with Sri Lanka Air Force Flying Instructors on today (12 October 2023). This event took place at the SLAF Base Ratmalana Officer's Mess premises. The discourse encompassed significant subjects, namely, Instruction and Standardization, Supervision and Air Safety and Risk Management.

The presence of the Director General Air Operations and Commandant of the SLAF Academy, China Bay, lent substantial weight to the deliberations, as they actively participated alongside the SLAF Flying Instructors. Additionally, the discussion included the involvement of key figures, including the Director of Flight Safety, the Director of Quality Assurance, and their respective representatives, ensuring a holistic and informative exchange of knowledge and expertise.
