The Inter Unit Rugby Championship - 2023 was held at Rugby Ground SLAF Base Ratmalana yesterday (13 October 2023). The awarding ceremony took place at the same venue with the graceful presence of the Director General Ground Operations of SLAF, Air Vice Marshal GGWTK Gunawardena as the Chief Guest.
 
SLAF Station Colombo Rugby Team won the title as Men’s Champions for the year 2023 whilst SLAF Base Ratmalana emerged as Runners up.in the Women’s category SLAF Station Colombo won the Championship and SLAF Base Katunayake emerged as Runners up.

The event was attended by President Sri Lanka Rugby Group Captain Nalin De Silva (Retd), Commanding Officer SLAF Station Colombo, Air Commodore PSN Fernando, Base Commander SLAF Base Ratmalana, Air Commodore WPAH Perera and other distinguished invitees.
