The change of command of SLAF Station Palavi was taken place ceremonially today (20 October 2023), where Group Captain PS Alexander USP, PG Dip (IR), psc assumed the duties as the 14th Commanding Officer of the Station as the successor of Wing Commander PGB Madegewatta USP, Pg Dip (Def Mgt).
 

The new Commanding Officer Group Captain PS Alexander previously held the appointment as Staff Officer Ground II of the Directorate of Ground at Air Force Headquarters
