The Inter Unit Hockey Championship 2023 was concluded at SLAF Trade Training School Ekala today (20 October 2023). The finals and Awards Ceremony were held at the same venue with the graceful presence by The Director General Welfare, Air Vice Marshal Suharshie Fernando as the Chief Guest.

SLAF Station Colombo claimed the Championship of the Men's 11-A side category whilst SLAF Combat Training School Diyatalawa emerged as Runners Up. The SLAF Trade Training School Ekala won the Women’s 7-A side Championship while the SLAF Academy Chinabay emerged as Runners Up. The SLAF Base Rathmalana Tech Formation won the Men’s 7-A side Championship while the SLAF Combat Training School Diyatalawa emerged as Runners Up.

Chairman SLAF Hockey, Air Commodore Shehan Wijayanayake, Members of the Air Force Sports Council and other invitees participated to witness the final session.
