The 2nd  South Asian Sambo Championship, organized by the Bangladesh Sambo and Kurash Association, was held from 01st November to 04th  November 2023, at the Shahid Tajuddin Ahmed Indoor Stadium in Dhaka, Bangladesh. A total of 172 players from six countries competed in 56 weight categories.

SLAF Judo Player Copral Chandima AAA secured the bronze medal in the 88 Kg weight category.
