The Inter Unit and Open Badminton Championships 2023, held at the Air Force Health Management Center (AFHMC) Thummulla from 07 to 09 November 2023 with the participation of players representing the Sri Lanka Air Force establishments around the country.

SLAF Base Katunayake, secured the Championship while SLAF Combat Training School, Diyatalawa, emerged as Runner-Up.

The Awards Ceremony was held at the same venue today (09 November 2023) and the Acting Director Welfare of the Sri Lanka Air Force, Air Commodore Suresh Fernando graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Chairman SLAF Badminton, Group Captain PN Gunathilake, officers and other ranks attended to witness the finals and the Awarding Ceremony.
