The Cake Exhibition, organized by the Women’s Wing at Sri Lanka Air Force Base Katunayake, took place on 30 November 2023, at the Cafeteria. The event featured categories such as Wedding Structure, Birthday Cake and Cupcakes. Twelve participants who successfully completed the cake course conducted by the Women’s Wing participated in the Cake Competition during the exhibition. The President of the Seva Vanitha Unit at SLAF Base Katunayake, Mrs. Nirmala Perera,  honoured the occasion as the Chief Guest.

The judging panel comprised President of the Seva Vanitha Unit at SLAF Base Katunayake, Mrs. Nirmala Perera, Commanding Officer of Aircraft Spares Depot, Group Captain JAPS Jayawardrena Chef of SriLankan Catering, Mr. WPC Wickramasinghe. Winners across all three competition categories received valuable cash prizes and gifts. The Director of Malkie Cake Academy in Negombo, who conducted cake classes for the Women’s Wing, provided crucial support to ensure the event's success.
