No 06 Helicopter Squadron at Sri Lanka Air Force Base Anuradhapura celebrated its 18th formation day on 15th March 11.

The Formation Day celebrations began with a Working Parade held at the Base premises. The parade was inspected by its Commanding Officer Wg Cdr MASK Maheepala.

The commemorative activities held in view of the anniversary took place at Sri Maha Bodhiya where personnel of the squadron engaged in religious activities and paid tribute to personnel who sacrificed their lives for the Motherland whilst serving at No 6 Squadron.

All Squadron personnel played an active part in the day's activities.
