The Inter Unit Wushu Championship 2023 was held at the Indoor sports complex SLAF Base Katunayake from 06 December 2023 to 08 December 2023. The finals and awards ceremony was held at the same venue on 08 December 2023 with the graceful presence of Director Generals Logistics, Air Vice Marshal SMSP Koswatta as the Chief Guest.

The event was conducted under 08 weight categories for Men and 06 weight categories for Women under new rules and regulations of the International Wushu Federation (IWUF). The Men’s Championship was clinched by SLAF Base Ratmalana whilst the Women’s Championship was secured by SLAF Station Colombo. SLAF Station Colombo emerged as the Runner-up in the Men’s category and SLAF Base Ratmalana in the Women’s category.

Chairman of SLAF Wushu, Group Captain KAPS Kuruwita, Officials of the Air Force Directorate of Sports, Senior Officers and other invitees participated to witness the finals and Awarding Ceremony.
