CHANGE OF COMMAND AT SLAF STATION PALALY

The Change of Command of SLAF Station Palaly took place yesterday (29 December 2023). The Traditional handing over and taking over parade was conducted at the Station Parade Square premises where the outgoing Commanding Officer Group Captain MADMC Manathunga RWP, RSP, psc handed over the command to Group Captain HMC Herath RSP.
The outgoing Commanding Officer Group Captain MADMC Manathunga RWP, RSP, psc expressed his gratitude to all service and civil personnel at the Station for the support they extended during his tenure as the Commanding Officer.
The incoming Commanding Officer, Group Captain HMC Hearth RSP previously held the appointment as Commanding Officer at the SLAF Station Sigiriya before being appointed as the Commanding Officer of SLAF Station Palaly.
