SLAF TRADE TRAINING SCHOOL EKALA CELEBRATES 53rd ANNIVERSARY
SLAF Trade Training School, Ekala celebrated 53rd Anniversary yesterday (02 January 2024) under the directives of the Commanding Officer, Air Commodore UCJ Piyasena.
The formation day celebration commenced with a symbolic tree-planting ceremony featuring coconut and mango trees within the camp premises. The Commanding Officer, Senior Officers and a cross-section of service personnel, actively participated in this environmental initiative.
In line with the anniversary celebrations, a cricket tournament was organized, raising camaraderie among the servicemen. Officers and other ranks from the Trade Training School enthusiastically participated, enhancing the spirit of unity and collaboration.
As the SLAF Trade Training School Ekala looks back on 53 years of excellence, it remains committed to providing quality training for the tradesmen and tradeswomen of the entire Air Force.
