The Sri Lanka Air Force Station Piduruthalagala celebrated its 14th Anniversary on 5 January 2024 giving prominence to social, religious and recreational activities.

The Formation day working parade was reviewed by the acting Commanding Officer Squadron Leader PGVCP Nandasena  which was followed by recreational activities by the serving personnel of the Station. As part of the anniversary celebration the serving personnel conducted a Shramadana Campaign at the mountainous road to the Station Piduruthalagala and conducted an alms giving and a Pirith chanting ceremony at the Summit of Piduruthalagala. Also a cricket tournament was organized with the participation of the all ranks in celebrating the formation day.
