PRESS BRIEFING ON THE 'COMMANDER’S CUP GOLF TOURNAMENT – 2024'

The press briefing for the 'Commander’s Cup Golf Tournament – 2024' took place today, (08 January 2024), at the new Air Force Headquarters in the Defence Headquarters Complex.
The key moments of the event included the unveiling of the Commander’s Cup Golf Trophy by the Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Udeni Rajapaksa and the Group Chief Officer of Dialog Enterprises, Mr. Navin Peiris. The event also featured a briefing on upcoming sports events in the Air Force Sports calendar which was conducted by Secretary Air Force Sports Council, Group Captain Eranda Geeganage.
The Eagles’ Golf Links of the Sri Lanka Air Force will host the Commander’s Cup – 2024, an Annual Golf Tournament for Men and Women scheduled from 19 to 21 January 2024, at the picturesque setting of China Bay, near the Harbour City of Trincomalee. Dialog Enterprise will power the Commander’s Cup as the enterprise connectivity partner for the fourth consecutive year. This marks the 11th consecutive edition of the tournament. At the end of the press briefing, the symbolic sponsorship cheque was presented to the Commander by Mr. Navin Peiris, the Group Chief Officer of Dialog Enterprises.
