The annual All Night Pirith Chanting Ceremony, dedicated to honouring the personnel of the SLAF who made the ultimate sacrifice and sought blessings for their souls and all the serving members of the SLAF, took place yesterday night (09 January 2024). Subsequently, an almsgiving for 13 Venerable Maha Sanga was conducted this morning (10 January 2024) at SLAF Station Morawewa. The Station Commanding Officer, Group Captain Hemantha Balasooriya, along with all officers, other ranks and the civil staff of the station, participated in both the ceremony and the almsgiving.
