CHANGE OF COMMAND AT NO. 01 LEISURE AND RECREATION WING, SLAF ACADEMY CHINA BAY
The Change of Command at the No. 01 Leisure and Recreation Wing, SLAF Academy China Bay was conducted yesterday (23 January 2024).
The traditional Handing Over/ Taking Over parade took place at the No. 01 Leisure and Recreation Wing Headquarters where the outgoing Commanding Officer, Group Captain SV Premawardana handed over command to Group Captain SGNUK Wickramasinghe. Group Captain SV Premawardana will be proceeding to Air Force Station Sigiriya where he will be assuming duties as the Commanding Officer of the SLAF Station Sigiriya.
Group Captain SGNUK Wickramasinghe previously held the appointment of Head of Procurement, National Cadet Corps Sri Lanka before being appointed as the Commanding Officer of the No.01 Leisure and Recreation Wing, SLAF Academy China Bay.
