The Chief of Defence Force of Maldives National Defence Force, Lieutenant General Abdul Raheem Abdul Latheef called on the Commander of Air force, Air Marshal Udeni Rajapaksa this morning  (09 February 2024).

Lieutenant General Latheef was received by the Commander of the Air Force and the Guard of Honour was conferred by the No. 43 Colour Wing of the SLAF.

Chief of Defence Force met with the Chief of Staff and the members of the Air Force Board of Management.  

Following the customary proceedings, Air Marshal Rajapaksa and Lieutenant General Latheef discussed bilateral matters of mutual interest, such as strengthening defence cooperation and enhancing training opportunities. The official plaques were exchanged between the two Chiefs at the Commander’s Office after the cordial discussions.
