In line with the 73rd Anniversary of the SLAF, an Eye clinic was organized today (21 February 2024) at SLAF Station Weerawila under the guidance of the Commanding Officer SLAF Station Weerawila, Group Captain Suresh Jayasinghe. The clinic received assistance from the Director of the Hambantota District General Hospital and its staff. In total, 109 reading glasses were do-nated and 126 participants attended the event. Additionally, 73 reading glasses were donated to the parents of service personnel and civil staff. The SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit contributed by providing 200 reading glasses.
