SLAF MOTOR RACING TEAM EXCELS AT ELIYAKANDA HILL CLIMB RACE 2024
The SLAF Motor Racing Team made a mark at the Eliyakanda Hill Climb Race 2024, held at the Mathara Eliyakandata Racing Track by the Southern Motor Sports Club on 25 February 2024.
Flight Sergeant Lakmal JDC claimed the title of 2nd runner-up in the Street Trail Motorcycle up to 125cc event, while Sergeant Nilanka MKD secured the position of 1st runner-up in the same category. Additionally, Leading Aircraftman Madumal AAV impressed with a 2nd runner-up finish in the Street Trail up to 250cc event.
The event was graced by the Honorable State Minister of Investment Promotion, Dilum Amunugama, who attended as the chief guest, adding prestige to the occasion.
