SLAF BASE KATUNAYAKE HOSTS SUCCESSFUL 'HAPPY FAMILY FOR PRODUCTIVE AIR FORCE' PROGRAMME

The “Happy Family for Productive Air Force” program was successfully conducted on 26 February 2024 at the Astra Cinema Hall, SLAF Base Katunayake.
The initiative was taken by the Base Commander SLAF Base Katunayake, Air Vice Marshal Deshapriya Silva and conducted by Prof. Sarath Wijesooriya, University of Colombo.
Mainly the programme focused on maintaining a harmonious family life that was specifically designed to educate married service personnel on raising happiness and stability within their families.
Most of them participated along with their spouses. The married individuals were able to gain insightful knowledge and strategies for nurturing a joyful family environment, which in turn contributes to a more positive and productive Air Force.
This important programme was organized by the SLAF Hospital Katunayake under the guidance of Commanding Officer, Air Commodore (Dr.) Vasantha Padmaperuma.
Nearly 400 personnel including officers, other ranks and their spouses participated in the Programme.
