The First leg of the 25th Guwan Hamuda Papedi Sawariya ended at Kandy today (03 March 2024) having covered a distance of 104.3km. Sri Lanka Air Force Cyclist, Nadeesha Eshan won the 1st leg of the race while Sandaruwan Pinto from Sri Lanka Army and Rovindu Namuditha Soyza of Dehiwala-Mount Lavinia Municipal Council finished as second and third places respectively.

The second leg of the race will begin tomorrow (04 March 2024) at 0830hrs from Kandy. The second leg will cover a distance of 137.2km and will complete at Polonnaruwa.
