The second stage of the 25th Guwan Hamuda Papedi Sawariya concluded today (04 March 2024), in Polonnaruwa after a route spanning 137.2 kilometers. Nipuna Sonal De Silva, representing the Sri Lanka Port Authority Cyclists, emerged victorious in this leg of the race. Pasindu Thisera from the Sri Lanka Army secured the second position, followed by Prabash Silva of the Sri Lanka Navy in third place.

Tomorrow,(05 March 2024), the third stage of the race will commence at 08:30 a.m. from Polonnaruwa. This leg will cover a distance of 125.7 kilometers, concluding at Trincomlee.
