SLAF VICTORIOUS AT THE 54TH NATIONAL CARROM CHAMPIONSHIP
The Sri Lanka Carrom Federation hosted the 54th National Carrom Championship from 17 February 2024 to 10 March 2024. The SLAF concluded the tournament with notable victories.
A member of the SLAF Carrom team, Aircraftwoman Sanjeewani CN, clinched the Championship in the Women’s Single Event and was ranked as the No. 5 in Sri Lanka Carrom. Also, SLAF secured the Championship in the Women’s Double Event with Aircraftwoman Kavindi TGT, Trainee Nipuni Dilrukshi and Mixed Double Event with Leading Aircraftman Wickramasinghe CABW, Aircraftwoman Kavindi TGT.
Furthermore, Aircraftwoman Peiris MHM and Aircraftwoman Kavindi TGT ranked No. 3 and 4 while, Leading Aircraftman Perera RHA and Leading Aircraftman Wickramasinghe CABW secured the 04th and 06th rankings respectively, among the exceptional 16 Carrom players in the National Ranking.
