INSPECTOR GENERAL OF POLICE CALLS ON THE COMMANDER OF THE AIR FORCE
The Inspector General of Police, Deshabandu Tennakoon called on the Commander of Air force, Air Marshal Udeni Rajapaksa this morning (08 April 2024).
Inspector General of Police was received by the Commander of the Air Force and the Guard of Honour was conferred by the No. 43 Colour Wing of the SLAF.
Inspector General of Police met with the Chief of Staff, Deputy Chief of Staff and the members of the Air Force Board of Management.
Following the customary proceedings, Air Marshal Rajapaksa and IGP Deshabandu Tennakoon had cordial discussions and Commander of the Air Force congratulated Mr. Deshabandu Tennakoon on his appointment as the 36th Inspector General of Police. Subsequently, the official plaques were exchanged between the Commander of the Air Force and Inspector General of Police at the Commander’s Office.
