The SLAF Motor Racing Team performed their prowess at the Single Tree Hill Climb Race 2024, hosted at the Nuwara Eliya Single Tree Hill Climb Racing Track by the Nem Motor Sport Club and the Sri Lanka Association of Racing Drivers and Riders on yesterday (09 April 2024).

Sergeant Nilanka MKD secured the 2nd runner-up position in the steed trail motorcycle up to 125cc event. Additionally, Leading Aircraftwoman Karunarathne GMM of the SLAF motor racing team claimed the 4th runner-up position among 10 female competitors from other clubs in the scooters up to 110cc Women’s event.

The event was graced by the presence of Mr. Shain Gunawardane, the Chairman of the Federation Motor Sport in Sri Lanka, who attended as the chief guest, thereby adding prestige to the occasion.
