The 'Bakmaha Ulela' was organised by the Ministry of Defence at the Defence Headquarters Complex premises in Sri Jayewardenepura yesterday (10 April 2024) and the Hon. President, Ranil Wickremasingha, graced the event as the Chief Guest. The occasion featured a diverse range of traditional games, enthusiastically engaged in by all ministry members.

National Security Advisor, Hon. Sagala Ratnayake, Secretary to the Ministry of Defence, Gen. Kamal Gunaratne (Retd), Chief of Defence Staff, Gen. Shavendra Silva, Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Udeni Rajapaksa and Vice Chancellor of General Sir Jhon Kothelawala Defence University, Rear Admiral Dammika Kumara were also present at the event.
