The Sri Lanka Air Force celebrated its 73rd anniversary under the theme "Wings of Friendship" by launching a project to refurbish and enhance infrastructure in 73 selected schools across the Northern and Eastern Provinces. As a part of this initiative, SLAF Regiment Training School Vanni contributed to renovating ten (10) deserved schools in the region. The handover ceremony of the refurbished  Man/Mullikulam Vidyalaya in Madu took place yesterday (29 April 2024).

The event commenced with the unveiling of the newly renovated Main Hall building. The Commanding Officer SLAF Regiment Training School Vanni, Group Captain Mangala Seneviratne, graced the ceremony as the chief guest, alongside the officers and other ranks from the station. Further, the Principal, teaching staff and enthusiastic students attended to witness the ceremony.
