The Inter Unit Billiard and Snooker Championship – 2024 was held at SLAF Base Katunayake from 13 May 2024 to 16 May 2024. The awarding ceremony took place at the Gymnasium SLAF Base Katunayake yesterday (16 May 2024) with the graceful presence of Director General Ground Operations, Air Vice Marshal Chaminda Wickramaratne as the Chief Guest.

Regiment Formations SLAF Base Katunayake emerged as the Champions whilst Tech Formations SLAF Base Katunayake secured the Runners-up. Leading Aircraftman Kulasinghe MDN from Regiment Formations at SLAF Base Katunayake and Leading Aircraftwoman Weerasinghe WMSH from SLAF Base Higurakgoda secured the Championships of the Billiards Open Men’s and Women’s’ events respectively.

The ceremony was attended by the Base Commander SLAF Base Katunayake, Director Sports, Members of the Air Force Sports Council and other invitees.
