The Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Udeni Rajapaksa, conducted the Annual Commander's Inspection at SLAF Regiment Training School Vanni today (12 June 2024). The Commander was received by the Commanding Officer, Group Captain M Seneviratne, where the commander was accorded a street line.

During the course of the inspection, the Commander visited the Station Headquarters, Police Section, Works Section and Sports section, followed by a tour around the station.

In conclusion, the Commander addressed all the service personnel at the Station and extended his appreciation to the Commanding Officer, officers, other ranks and civilian staff for their untiring efforts in elevating the school to its current level of excellence and their significant contributions to social work. Furthermore, the Commander emphasized the necessity of contributions towards the downsizing process and the optimum utilization of available resources to ensure the station operates efficiently.
