Civil Engineering Wing SLAF Base Katunayake proudly celebrated its 21st year anniversary yesterday (13 June 2024). This formation was established to undertake all major construction and renovation in the Sri Lanka Air Force and the state sector as planned by Air Force Headquarters.

In view of celebrating its anniversary, Civil Engineering Wing has conducted a Community Service Project at the Differently abled  Children Vocational Training Institute-Seeduwa. and offered lunch and a musical session at the VTI premises on 07 June 2024.

The customary working parade took place yesterday, during which the Commanding Officer, Group Captain ND Ekanayake, awarded Letters of Appreciation to four airmen in recognition of their distinguished service. The celebration also featured a sports competition involving all service personnel and civilian staff members.
